Our Green Journey
We fly hundreds of passengers daily, deep into the heart of Borneo to enjoy and experience the wonders of nature that Sabah and Sarawak have to offer. Borneo is blessed to be home to some of the world's oldest primary tropical rainforests. What's more, the majestic Mount Kinabalu, tallest in all of South East Asia and the glorious chambers of the Mulu Caves both World Heritage Sites can be found within hours of each other. We admit, we're no experts on the environment, but we do know that whatever we do has an impact on the environment we operate in. It's just like When someone throws a pebble into a pond - the ripples that are made from the pebble flow outwards in the form of little water waves. That's how we are - we make little waves in our immediate surroundings that eventually have a bigger overall effect globally. Good waves or bad waves? That depends on the decisions that we make today. This page on our website is a glimpse into the things we at MASwings are learning about this planet that we live in, our role in making sure that we reduce any negative impact (bad waves) on the environment and our efforts in increasing the good kind of impact (good waves) that we try to create more of. And this is why we call it our green journey. We're not there yet, but we know where we need to go, and we're learning how to get there. All we need now are more companions to join us on this journey. Take your time and enjoy browsing through our site. Check out the Green Folder and dig up some of the fascinating things we're learning about the environment. Let's face it, we can't do this on our own.
